- Make sure you meet the membership criteria: Membership is limited to official orthopedic surgery residency program web sites. Applications should only be submitted by those who have authorization to make web site changes on their respective sites (chairmans, program directors, secretaries, assistants, webmasters, etc...)
- Complete the Membership Application. Once you have completed the application , you will be sent an automated email confirming your submission. This will put your page in the OSRR Queue, where it will remain until you are added to the ring. This does not insert you in the ring; the actual insertion is done later by the Ring Manager upon approval.
- Go to the graphics and code page and choose which option you plan to use for your ring fragment setup. Copy the HTML code as instructed for the selected option.
- Place the HTML code fragement on the same web page that you have submitted to us. Make sure you have the appropriate site ID number in the code fragment section. You may place the code fragment anywhere you wish on the page you have submitted to us.
- After posting the HTML Code Fragment, email the Ring Manager WITH THE SITE ID NO. AND URL IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL. Your page will then be reviewed to make sure your site meets the requirements and has the correct OSRR HTML code fragment and graphics on the page. After reviewing your web page, if everything is correct and approved, you should then receive an e-mail telling you that you've been added.
YOU WILL HAVE JUST 21 DAYS TO POST THE RING FRAGMENT TO YOUR PAGE AND QUALIFY FOR MEMBERSHIP. Qualified sites remaining in the queue for longer than three weeks (21 days) without adding the ring logo will be deleted automatically without further notice. Those sites must resubmit the appropriate information and receive a new site id number to be added to the queue again for review.
